Love this place one of the best recreation centers that I’ve ever been to in the country. The fitness center the pool the track upstairs that you could do laps is just pretty much what you could definitely want and your local tax dollars being put to good use. Definitely a gym that you should check out. The staff is really good and there’s a lot of activities that you can get involved in from pickle ball to basketball to bike riding to soccer outdoors or even joining a swim class

Nice facilities...Great instructors that teach the kids classes....Safe and fun spot for youth to hangout after-school and whenever. The pool facilities here are definitely much nicer then most community centers...

They have lots of events for the community. In addition to this they have a full workout area, indoor track, basketball court, swimming area, and various rooms for classes and other activities. Also, they provide a safe place for the youth to go after school as well.

Just got back from a workout with my wonderful personal trainer, Matt. This facility has a great gym, indoor pickleball courts, many activities for all ages, and a nice indoor pool. Same scenario today and the only change at this facility seems to be at the front desk where they don't greet anyone! They responded when I initiated my own greeting, but customer service should include a hello or welcome of some kind. Even looking up and smiling would be nice. Update: Same nice facility, same great trainer, and same lack of communication at the front desk. Wow! Update: Today I was enthusiastically greeted by someone working the front desk who normally works at another center that I frequent. Nice change of pace. I walked for awhile on the nice indoor track. Great option when it's too wet outside.

Brand new community center in East Tacoma. Opened in October of 2018. Has pools and exercise room, basketball courts. Front desk people seem helpful and friendly.
